After a break of a few years, in 2023 we were again able to produce a printed newsletter to distribute to local people who do not have easy access to the internet and to give out at events.
Unfortunately, due to illness, we were unable to produce any issues in 2024, but hope to produce them again from late 2025.
The second (July 2023) edition of our new newsletter 'Super Trooper' is available to download.
Find out why Rosie joins our Conservation Work Parties and learn more about the wonderful biodiversity of Troopers Hill with ecologist rupert Higgins.
This edition also has guide to becoming a Bug dectective for younger readers.

After the editor of 'The Hill' moved on we printed 3 further newsletters, but these stopped when we had the opportunity to have monthly articles in the St George and Redfield Voice, as above.
From March 2006 to December 2015 we used the title "The Hill" for our newsletters but, as described in the Winter 2015/16 edition, this ended when our editor moved on from Bristol.
During the early part of this period (before facebook and twitter became so popular) we also posted news on a forum on this website.
In the early years of Friends of Troopers Hill very few people had internet access, so we produced simple news sheets for distribution to our members.
