Competition Details
 Photos should be taken at an event on Troopers Hill Local Nature Reserve or Troopers Hill Field during 2010.
There are two categories for photographers under 16 under and 16 & over.
You can send your photographs either as an electronic image to , or as print or slide to Bryan at Modelmania, Clouds Hill Road, St George BS5 7LD. All entries need to be received by 31st October 2010. All photos will be scanned and then judged in a digital format.
There will be a first place prize in each group and we will also announce runners up and any commended entries. Prizes will be a gift voucher of your choice to the value of £20 and the winners will be announced at our review of the year at 3pm on 5th December 2010 at Summerhill Methodist Church. More detailed rules (the small print!) are shown below.
We will endeavour to return slides (so make sure we have your details), but not prints. If you enter an image, you will retain the copyright to that image, but you will automatically give us the rights to use that image as we see fit in the future in our, or allied groups, publicity. Judging will be by a panel of independent judges; the judges will not be told who submitted the photos. Each person can enter a maximum of three images - if you submit more than three please tell us which ones should be entered otherwise we will randomly select three to go forward to the judging. A statement of ownership of the images you submit will be required. If the age of the photographer is not stated we will assume you are over 16. No person deemed as a “professional” photographer shall be eligible to enter. Judges and Friends of Troopers Hill's decisions are final.
