There must have been more photographs taken on Troopers Hill on 12th August 1984 than on any other date. Roy was one of the many people on Troopers Hill that Vernon could see from his view point - see Set A. This is the moment as the 300 feet chimney at the Board Mills fell.
Comparison with the August 2007 view shows how much the woodland onn the west side of the hill has grown.
