On Monday 23 Novmber 2009 Friends of Troopers Hill were pleased to welcome Ben Prater of BBC Radio Bristol to Troopers Hill. Ben was recording some interviews for his 'Bingo Balls' feature to be broadcast during that week on his Drive Time Programme.
Unfortunately the wind and heavy showers meant that those taking part had to retreat to Susan's front room, though some of the interviews were recorded in the garden with a view of the hill and the wind giving extra sound effects.
Ben interviewed Susan, Pete, Chris and Kit. Susan's session was broadcast on the Monday; with Pete following on Tuesday; Chris getting Wednesday & Thursday and Kit ending the week of broadcasts on Friday.
Ben kindly provided us with a recording of the interviews so that we could add them to this website. You can listen to them via the links below, either the whole 41 minutes or each person separately. The files may take time to download and depending on your contection and browser settings you may find it easier to right click and save the mp3 files to your computer.
